White Chocolate Candy Cane Cookies
- 1⅔ cup flour
- ¾ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1½ sticks butter
- ¾ cup packed brown sugar
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 12 oz pkg white chocolate chips
- ½ cup candy canes, crushed (about 8 candy canes)
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees
- Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.
- Beat butter, sugars and vanilla together until creamy.
- Add egg and beat in.
- Slowly mix in the dry ingredients a little at a time.
- Mix in white chocolate chips and crushed candy canes.
- Drop by spoonful onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper. (I find a small scoop works really well for this)
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly browned.
- Let set for a few minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.
