White Chocolate Candy Cane Cookies
  • 1⅔ cup flour
  • ¾ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1½ sticks butter
  • ¾ cup packed brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 12 oz pkg white chocolate chips
  • ½ cup candy canes, crushed (about 8 candy canes)
  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees
  2. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.
  3. Beat butter, sugars and vanilla together until creamy.
  4. Add egg and beat in.
  5. Slowly mix in the dry ingredients a little at a time.
  6. Mix in white chocolate chips and crushed candy canes.
  7. Drop by spoonful onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper. (I find a small scoop works really well for this)
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly browned.
  9. Let set for a few minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.
