Sweet Biscuits with Honey Cinnamon Butter
  • 2¼ cups flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 8 tbsp cold butter, small dice
  • 1 cup new Land O’Lakes® Buttercream Style Half & Half
  • ----
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 heaping tsp cinnamon honey
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. In a small bowl mix the flour, salt, sugar and baking powder. Add in the butter and using a fork or pastry cutter, combine the butter into the dry mix until about the size of peas.
  3. Stir in the new Land O’Lakes® Buttercream Style Half & Half until just mostly combined. The dough will be a bit wet and sticky.
  4. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead just maybe 5-10 times gently. Form into a rectangle about an inch tall. Cut into 6 even{ish} squares and place onto a lined baking sheet.
  5. If you'd like a little sheen to the top of the biscuits brush with a little egg wash {lightly whisked egg and a splash of water} then sprinkle with a little sugar.
  6. Bake for 25 minutes, until golden.
  7. In a small bowl mix the softened butter and cinnamon honey. If you cannot find a mix add in 2 heaping tsp honey and ½-1 tsp cinnamon to taste.
