Baked Artichoke Hearts with Lemon
  • 2- 14oz cans whole artichoke hearts
  • ⅔ cup pl,ain breadcrumbs
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp grated pecorino cheese
  • zest of half a lemon plus extra to garnish
  • a souple pinches of fresh chopped parsley, plus extra for garnish
  1. Preheat the oven to 385 degrees.
  2. Carefully halve the artichoke hearts and place them onto a lined baked sheet.
  3. In a bowl mix together the bread crumbs, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, grated cheese, parsley and lemon zest.
  4. Top each artichoke heart with some of the bread crumb. Bake for about 8-10 minutes until lightly golden.
  5. Garnish with chopped parsley, lemon zest and a little drizzle of olive oil.
