Brie & Pear Crostini with Honey and Hazelnuts
- 1 french baguette, ¼ in slices
- brie cheese
- Anjou pears, sliced
- honey
- a handful of hazelnuts, roughly chopped
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
- Place the hazelnuts in a dry frying pan and toast until just lightly golden {be careful, nuts will burn quickly}.
- Place the sliced baguette on a baking sheet in a single layer and toast up for about 8 minutes or until golden.
- Top each crostini with a slice of brie. Pop back in the oven for a few minutes just until the brie is melted.
- Top each with a slice of pear, drizzle with honey and top off with the toasted hazelnuts.
